- Join a leader in the Nordic banking and financial industry, as a vital member of our Derivatives Sales team in Stockholm. This dynamic role offers an exciting opportunity to significantly impact our corporate clients by advising them on managing interest rate risks effectively.
- Client-Centric Solutions: As part of the Derivatives Sales team, you will providetailored interest rate derivatives solutions for Swedbank’s core corporate clients,particularly focusing on those within the real estate sectors.
- Collaborative Strategy Development: Work closely with the Risk Advisoryteam to methodically design interest rate hedges that precisely meet clientneeds, leveraging your expertise to drive value.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, trustful relationships with both corporateclients and colleagues at Swedbank, utilizing your genuine social skillsand passion for long-lasting partnerships.
- Business Driven: In the role you will drive and manage the demands for interest ratehedging products, while overseeing product flows linked to our Debt CapitalMarkets activities, including corporate bond issuances.
- You must possess a robust analytical background, with an inherent enthusiasmfor monitoring macroeconomic news and financial markets on a daily basis.
- In managing your own client portfolio in Sweden, you will aim to achieve setreturn targets while also driving the development of new interest ratederivative services.
- As you will primarily work with Swedish clients, complete proficiency in understandingand speaking Swedish is essential for this role.
- Work integrated with our analytical tools and research to proactively advise clients on managing interest rate risk, suggesting the most suitable strategies based on investment policies and regulatory requirements, including ESG considerations.
- Stayingontop of market trends and regulatory changes is crucial to adapt strategies for interest rate hedging accordingly, and collaborate closely with FX specialists, corporate bond experts, and client executives.
What isneeded in this role:
- Educational Background: Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or Engineering.
- Language Proficiency: Mandatory to be fluent in spoken and written Swedish.
- Relevant Experience: A minimum of five years' experience working with interest rate derivatives products in a client-facing role is highly desirable.
- Team Player: Essential to be a team player with high ambition and a positive attitude, enjoying interaction and cooperation with colleagues and customers.
- Market Expertise: Possess strong and demonstrable knowledge of corporate and fixed income bond markets, including their infrastructure and products.
- Client-Centric Approach: Dedicated to finding solutions to clients’ needs with a mindset geared towards taking ownership of business outcomes.
- Analytical Skills: Exhibit robust analytical skills with a strong drive to work on and develop Excel models.
