About the role:

As our Head of Product and Digital Experience at Scandic Group, you will be at the forefront of our digital transformation, ensuring that we provide our guests with category leading digital services as part of our guest experience. You will work at the intersection of guest experience, commercial strategy and digital solutions development. You will be steering our digital development roadmap, aligning product strategy with business objectives to enhance our guest experience and commercial outcomes from our digital services across the guest journey (such as website, app, digital service at hotels).

As a key leader in the customer experience team, you will work in an insights-driven, creative and customer centric team to design and develop the future digital experiences of Scandic guests.

Your role involves:

  • Lead and nurture a talented team of Product Owners, UI/UX Designers, and Data Analysts, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including brand & marketing, sales, loyalty, and IT, to ensure product features and enhancements are aligned with commercial strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring transparency and alignment on product strategy, progress, and outcomes.

The role reports to our Head of Customer Experience.

Who are you?

  • Proven track record of leading successful teams in B2C digital product development with documented results of delivered products or services.
  • Ability to develop and implement digital product strategies aligned with overarching business goals and understanding of balancing both business and customer value.

  • Experience using KPIs and data analysis to drive product development decisions and optimize performance.

  • Background as a Product Owner/Product Manager, showcasing hands-on experience in digital product development.

  • Experience in leading and motivating teams towards common goals, with the ability to create a positive and productive work environment.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth product development process.

  • Preferable experience in industries combining physical and digital aspects, such as retail, travel, or services with a physical component.
  • Understanding of technical and digital development processes.
  • Full working proficiency in English is essential, Swedish or other Scandinavian language is a plus.

This is a full-time employment at our Group Office/HQ. Our HQ is situated in newly renovated spaces, of course with a wonderful hotel vibe :) right by Hagaparken on Sveavägen in Stockholm. We love to be in the office but are a flexible workplace and offer a hybrid setup that suits our team members, a great benchmark is around 3 days/week at our office.
