Company Overview: At EpiHelp AB, our mission is to enrich society with a fundamentally fresh social community called basense which enables user generated reviews, crowd curation, maximizing trustworthiness, and a shared economy business model, but most importantly matches people on the grounds they are most passionate about. basense users can generate and curate reviews on products, services, and events, creating a space for meeting new friends, getting inspired by new ideas, sending and receiving referrals, exchanging relevant information, and ultimately, we invite everyone to capitalize on their reviews in a shared affiliate business model.

We are seeking a passionate, out-of-the-box thinking Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead our B2C+B2B Marketing strategy, initially focusing on lighthouse campaigns to simultaneously ramp up basense User and Ambassador count, while kick-starting our revenue streams across affiliate partnerships. This is a share compensated role until funding is secured, offering the candidate with strong buy-in, endurance, and entrepreneurial spirit a unique high risk | high reward opportunity. We're at the point of entering the revenue phase within the next 2 or 3 months.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lighthouse Campaigns: Plan and execute lighthouse campaigns building on basense use cases for social community building, ambassadorship, and affiliate marketing.
  • Commercial Growth: Plan and execute the affiliate partnership acquisition with merchants, ensuring sustainable growth across multiple geographies and verticals.
  • User Growth: Plan and execute user acquisition and retention strategies using appropriate digital marketing tools and services.
  • Ambassador Programs: Lead and scale influencer and ambassador acquisition and marketing strategy.
  • Excel in Value Selling: Optimize monetization strategies across affiliate partnerships, consulting services, and SaaS fees.
  • Targeting % Branding: Plan and execute branding and marketing activities tailored to target audiences.
  • Market Expansion: Develop market entry strategies for new regions, collaborating closely with partners.
  • Cross-functional team: Work closely with technology developers, affiliate system providers, and senior management.
  • Commercial Excellence: Maximize user and customer acquisition efficiency.
Requirements

Key Requirements:

  • Proven Leadership: Minimum 10 years executive experience in Start-up, small or medium-sized digital ventures.
  • Influencer and Ambassadors: Proven experience in planning and growing influencer networks.
  • Affiliate Network: Experience in onboarding merchants with direct contracts.
  • Commercial Excellence: Success in optimizing commercial metrics in app-based ecosystems or SaaS environments.
  • Marketing & Sales Integration: Strong understanding of marketing and sales processes.
  • Ability to navigate complex systems: Passion for understanding and operating multiple intersecting technology and business layers.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Hands-on, outcome-oriented mindset.
  • Driving Innovation: Ability to picture, sell, and drive innovative solutions.
  • Global Experience: Experience working in remote, decentralized teams.
  • Educational Background: Degree in Marketing, Business, or related fields.
  • Minimum Financial Independence: Candidate must have financial independence for the initial period of 3 to 6 months.
