About the Role

The COO will be a member of the management team, reporting to the CEO and responsible for driving the operational success of Akind. The COO works closely with the founders and oversees the operational backbone of the company, with a special focus on supply chain management, optimizing e-commerce strategies, expanding into new markets and channels, and supporting growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supply Chain Management: Manage and forecast product demand, regularly place product orders to maintain optimal inventory levels, and strengthen supply chain processes to ensure timely delivery.
  • Growth: Design and execute operational strategies to meet Akind's growth objectives and reinforce our position in the fine jewelry market.
  • E-Commerce Operations: Oversee and optimize our online sales platforms, ensuring an exceptional customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgets, improve cost efficiency, and drive profitability while maintaining Akind's high standards.
  • Market Expansion: Support expansion strategies and successful execution in new and existing markets.
  • Sales Channels: Drive Akind's expansion into new sales channels by identifying opportunities and implementing strategies to diversify and grow revenue streams.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Leverage analytics, KPIs, and market trends to inform decision-making and enhance performance across all operational areas.

Who we're looking for

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role, ideally as COO or in a similar capacity within the luxury or e-commerce industry.
  • Deep understanding of e-commerce operations, logistics, and customer experience.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to balance long-term vision and immediate execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to scale operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Financial expertise, including P&L management and cost optimization.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • An eye for detail and a commitment to delivering excellence in everything you do.
