We are now looking for a driven Project Coordinator to join the Education Transformation Unit. The workplace is located at Campus Skellefteå, a dynamic environment where education, research, and industry collaborate.

Education Transformation is a newly established unit within the Learning for Youth and Adults department, with the primary mission of developing strategies to meet societal changes and improve the conditions for education, learning and the labor market in Skellefteå. The unit runs its own development projects and participates as a project partner in others, with a particular focus on initiatives that strengthen society's skills supply and workforce development.

As a Project Coordinator, you will support project management and operational leadership in the planning, coordination, and execution of various projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that project activities are carried out according to set goals, timelines, and budget, while also serving as a key point of contact between different stakeholders, including businesses, government agencies, and collaboration partners. Your main responsibilities include:

1. Planning and coordinating project activities
2. Tracking deadlines and ensuring project progression

We are looking for someone with a higher education degree in project management, administration, or another relevant field. You have work experience in project coordination or project administration. Previous experience working with projects in the public sector is an advantage. Experience with project management tools, such as Antura, is a plus, as well as an understanding of how digitalization can enhance efficiency and create value within an organization. It is also beneficial if you have knowledge of how adult education is structured and financed.

For this role, strong communication skills are essential and you must be able to express yourself well in English. To succeed in this role, you are structured and able to plan and organize your work effectively. You are also highly collaborative, thriving in teamwork and building strong relationships with different stakeholders. A solution-oriented mindset helps you navigate challenges and drive projects forward, while your stability ensures you remain calm and professional even in demanding situations.

Start date by agreement. Monthly salary between 35,000 - 38,000 SEK.

Education and Labor Market is one of the largest departments within the municipality, with approximately 3,000 employees. Our operations span the entire municipality, including around 35 primary schools, 87 preschools, 40 after-school centers, and four upper secondary schools. We strive to provide children and young people with the tools they need to navigate both the present and the future. Our work is based on a holistic approach, ensuring continuity in development and learning from preschool through upper secondary school. The department also includes a growing adult education sector and a labor market unit focused on supporting individuals who need extra assistance.
