Position Overview:

Client Implementation Specialists support the overall coordination, maintenance and facilitation of developing the implementation plan for top-tier clients, working in close cooperation with Cash Management Sales. They support the successful implementation and delivery of products and solutions for a dedicated portfolio of top-tier corporate clients and financial institutions (project initiation, documentation, configuration and setup, validation and testing, training and post-production monitoring). They offer feedback to and share best practice with team members as required so that their individual and collective performance meets the current and future needs of the Bank.

Job Responsibilities:

Within Cash Management, Implementation & Service (I&S) is responsible for the client journey by opening, maintaining and closing accounts for corporate clients. The implementation of cash management solutions like Cash Manager, Local and Cross Border Pooling as well as providing the Service on day-to-day inquiries is the main activity. Electronic Banking, including SWIFT Fileact & FIN, Host to host and APIs is as well one of the key elements we provide to corporate clients.

By ensuring a high-quality Service, the Client Implementation Specialist is key in acting as the first point of contact for our corporate clients to support them in their day-to-day business. The end-to-end responsibility includes monitoring of payment flows, management of inquiries and issues and interact with Service and Implementation Managers in the Deutsche Bank network, Sales, Coverage or Operations ensuring in time delivery to our clients. The Client Implementation Specialist is the key driver to keep a high client satisfaction, so that it is easy to do business with DB and service is the reason to stay.

  1. Management of a select portfolio of clients, providing a dynamic, sensitive & professional contact point and coordinator for all their day-to-day implementation and service needs.
  2. Accountable and responsible for the maintenance of cash management products (technical setup of access channels and liquidity management, etc.) of existing clients using standard project management tools.
  3. Respond to account / transaction related inquiries and provide solutions in close coordination with internal departments or other Implementation and Service units abroad.
  4. Liaise closely with global & regional Cash Management Implementation, Sales, Product Management and service teams in a dynamic international environment.
  5. Organize and lead international meetings on issues and escalations that impact client's Cash Management operations by taking ownership for the identified issues until a successful resolution is reached.
  6. Monitor important transactions (e.g. netting rounds).
  7. Identify cross-selling opportunities and to liaise with Sales about further follow-ups.

Qualification & Work Experience required:

  1. Bachelor's/ Master's degree, 5+ years in global banking, treasury or equivalent.
  2. Fluent English and Nordic languages, verbal and written.
  3. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office incl. Word, Excel and Power Point.
  4. Good understanding of corporate cash management products as well as SEPA/ domestic/ international payment methods and instruments.
  5. Client focus and ability to balance between DB interest and client's interest.
  6. Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
