Do you want to embark on the journey of an exciting, fast-paced-growing airline? Qatar Airways has 66 weekly departures from Nordics and Poland (NEU) and continues to grow.
Qatar Airways (QR) is now recruiting for the role of Sales Manager (Leisure) for our Northern Europe Region (NEU), with responsibility for five countries – Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark and Poland.
Based in Stockholm, you will lead the Leisure sales team within the region to exceed commercial targets from a portfolio of existing accounts and new business. You will be responsible for allocation of resources, skills and activities to drive profitable revenue and reduce cost of sale. As part of the role, you will be required to travel.

Specific accountabilities include:
- Responsible for leading the Leisure sales team by defining the strategy to maintain and increase sales through commercial actions and partnerships.
- Analyze sales data and use business- and market intelligence to drive and maximize leisure revenue.
- Drive, structure and implement sales plans to optimize QR's revenue and presence in the market.
- Improve focus and alignment of key distribution channels in the assigned territories as per QR distribution strategy.
- Formulate and implement B2B strategies with the sales team to maximize revenue from existing accounts and drive revenue streams from new business.
- Accountable for negotiating partner incentive agreements and developing and maintaining long-term strategic relationships with them.
- Manage and coordinate sales projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in head office and region to develop short/medium term local sales incentives strategy.
- Work effectively with Sales Force, Tableau and Excel.
- Engage in joint sales and marketing activities to grow the level and quality of Qatar Airways revenue.
Qualifications
About you - The successful person will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree. Minimum 6 years of job-related experience ideally within airlines, travel, transport or hospitality.
- Strong leadership experience, proven ability to manage, motivate and mentor a cross-border team.
- Strong negotiating, influencing and communication skills.
- Dedicated problem solving and team player skills, being confident in a rapidly changing environment.
- Strong understanding of airline processes (e.g. Pricing/Distribution technology), systems (e.g. Amadeus, GDSes) and the travel industry in general.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (Word/PowerPoint/Excel).
- Knowledge of Sales Force and Tableau is beneficial.
- Fluency in English and a Scandinavian language (written and spoken) is essential.
