The team, position & mission:

With our team growing to meet the demands of our expanding business, we're looking to bring on an additional resource to support our continued success. As a Senior Business Development Executive at Orange Business, you will be a pivotal member of our Swedish Sales team. As part of this role, you will handle the entire sales process, which includes managing our targeted market area from beginning to end, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, such as partnerships and market expansions, and supporting any projects that arise during customer implementation.

We take great pride in working closely with our customers, guiding them in their needs as a partner. To be successful in this role, you need to understand the customer's business and their goals and see how we can support them. During the processes of identifying the optimal solution, you will liaise with our technical teams, subsequently assuming responsibility for the development and presentation of a compelling proposal. In some cases, this may entail identifying and managing external opportunity partners.

You will collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization to ensure successful implementation of business strategies. These stakeholders include departments like Project, Development, Infrastructure operations, Service Delivery and Cloud, consisting of people in different roles such as alliance manager, cloud advisors, solutions architects and account managers.

Additionally, it is advantageous for the ideal candidate to have previous experience in sales related to Data & AI and Customer Experience. This as our joint mission within the Digital Services business line of Orange Business is to help innovate, drive and lead our customers in their digital transformation challenges and business strategies in key digital key domains, including Cloud, Customer Experience, Data & AI and DigitalWorkspace.

Your key areas of responsibility as a Senior Business Development Executive:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the local market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with marketing and professional services teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Develop and present winning proposals to clients, including managing opportunity partners when necessary.
  • Support the project implementation process and address any issues that may arise.
  • Report to the Sales Director and play a key role in achieving the company's ambitious growth targets.

We believe that the ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the IT or professional services industry, (selling managed services, IaaS/PaaS outsourcing, public cloud services, or professional/consultancy services)
  • Proven track record of identifying and securing new business opportunities, managing the sales process from initiation to closure
  • Strong understanding of the local market and industry trends.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in both speech and writing in English and Swedish

It is not a requirement, but other advantageous qualifications would be:

  • Previous experience in sales related to Data & AI and Customer Experience
