Job Summary

Do you want to take a leading role in taking our innovation excellence to the next level for our Processing business? We are looking for a person passionate about innovation and people, who wants to drive our innovation excellence journey and enjoys driving change to maximise return on R&D investments.

We are looking for an Innovation Excellence Manager within the Processing Development organisation. In this role, you will be responsible for support, capability building and continuous improvement of the product development process for Processing, strongly contributing to our level of excellence in R&D execution. As local process driver of the development process, you will have a wide stakeholder network across the business to support continuous capability build up, enable synergies as well as best practice to maximise return on investment in project execution perspective. Furthermore, you will also play a key role in the yearly wheel of R&D budget governance together with the business to ensure productivity in planning and execution of R&D. Here, your understanding of our strategy and operating model will be key to ensure seamless interaction with the Solution Lifecycle Management (SLM) process.

This is a permanent position, based in Europe. In this role, you will report to the Director Processing Development. There will be around 10% travelling included in the role.

What you will do
  • Be the primary local process driver (LPD) for our development process (PC3.0)
  • Lead execution of R&D levels of excellence and KPIs areas
  • Support and guide in R&D budget yearly wheel activities and governance execution
  • Ensure strategic alignment in R&D direction and seamless interfaces between PC3.0 and Solution Lifecycle Management process
  • Own and deploy the classification of portfolio investments for R&D
  • Follow up on deployment of developed products and solutions (ROI for R&D)
  • Own the guideline for agreements with 3rd party suppliers for R&D and support organisation in the area
  • Support within overall IPR management in relation to development
  • Drive a network for project managers in the global team and across the R&D community to drive best practice, learnings and optimisations
  • Lead the Kanban and backlog management of activities for the global team
We believe you have
  • A bachelor's degree or higher within Engineering, Food technology, Economics or equivalent
  • Experience in working within product development and relevant processes within, preferably within relevant equipment business
  • A basic understanding of agile working methodologies
  • Experience in driving change in a complex stakeholder environment
  • A well-established understanding of the company and how the organisation and its functions works together
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal

You are self-motivated, result oriented and a structured approach to work and planning comes natural to you. You are also open minded, able to listen to your stakeholders, while being able to effectively keep the set pace forward. You are confident and credible in person, building trust.
