About the job

You will be a part of the Marketing and Product Management team working closely with Product and Project Managers interacting with all the functions of the BU, Operations, Sales, Sourcing, R&D as well as Sustainability Network at Alfa Laval. This is truly a collaborative role, located in Lund, Sweden.

Our own demands and those of our customers, investors and the society reflect the higher emphasis on sustainability. We are now looking for a sustainability manager to coordinate and lead the work related to Business Unit GPHE sustainability roadmap and align the efforts with the Alfa Laval Carbon neutral 2030 ambitions. Furthermore, to develop the ability of BU GPHE to capture business opportunities related to sustainability.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Setting up, implementing, and following up on the Sustainability targets and Sustainability roadmap for Business Unit GPHE.
  • Represent the BU externally on the topic of sustainability, such as represent and work in partnerships with key customers and represent Alfa Laval on panels.
  • Secure alignment with product development and ensure sustainability traceability in systems development.
  • Support Sales Companies with questions related to sustainability.
  • Reporting of GHG emission, all scopes and support the group level reporting on product level. This includes e.g., EcoVadis, CDP, SBTi and annual report..
  • Drive and implement processes and tools related to Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) on product level.

What you know

We expect you to have a relevant academic background in Engineering or similar, preferably with sustainability as an integrated part of it and experience from project leadership and organizational development. Knowledge of the Alfa Laval organization as well as of sustainability related legislation, regulations, and directives would be an advantage. You have excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written.
