Listed as one of the fastest growing companies in Europe by Financial Times and Statista we are now looking for an Interim Social Media & Content Lead (this role is a parental leave cover with a 12 months contract) who will play a crucial role in elevating our social media presence while we continue our growth journey.

We aim to consistently grow our revenue by more than 25% year-over-year while entering new markets, and you will be a crucial team member in helping us reach new heights. We're focused on continually ramping up our word-of-mouth communication strategy, with social media playing a key role in accelerating this growth.

Your journey begins here

In your role, you'll follow and refine our existing Global Social Media strategy, ensuring we have the right channel mix and engaging content to reach success. You'll be responsible for creative content creation that tells the story of our vision to make cities more livable. While you'll contribute strategically, you'll also work hands-on with the creative process, actively producing content and managing campaigns. Recognizing that social media extends beyond mere postings, we see that you'll excel in community management, KPI tracking, and optimization to ensure continuous growth and alignment with our goals.

You will work closely with our Regional Marketing Managers, PR & Comms Team, Brand & Creative Team, People & Culture and have one direct report based in the US - being a team player is key.

You will be the main point of contact for agencies supporting our Social Media Chapter in achieving its goals.

Make Your Impact by Contributing Through:

  • Social Media Strategy & Roadmap: Execute on our existing social media strategy and roadmap to drive growth in line with the business strategy, optimizing it to help us reach the next level.
  • Social Media Content Strategy & Calendar Management: Lead B2C and Industry content ideation, and own the overall content calendar for B2C, B2B, Industry and Group with input from multiple stakeholders.
  • Social Media Budget & KPIs: Recommend and manage an annual Social Media budget, ensuring alignment with financial and strategic objectives. Establish clear KPIs and monitor performance to optimize results.
  • Audience Targeting & Content Planning: Identify target audiences and define measurable goals. Entice them with valuable, engaging topics, and define the type of content to be created (e.g., influencer posts, infographics, video content) and the appropriate channels to use.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Lead Group Communication in collaboration with our PR & Comms Team. Support People & Culture in employer branding and be the go-to person for Customer Care in community management.

Your background

We don't think one size fits all, but a successful candidate might have the following:

  • 5+ years experience working with social media and content production
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written in English
  • Design and creative thinking
  • Experience in crisis management within a global context
  • Project management skills
  • Experience working in a B2B and/or B2G setup
  • Knowledge in content management tools, such as Sprinklr
