How you will make an impact

We are now seeking a business savvy Brand & Category Manager to drive our ambitious agenda for our Cheese business in Sweden. The position is based in Solna and you will be reporting to our Senior Category Manager for Cheese, Cooking Cheese and Cream Cheese in the marketing organization.

As Brand & Category Manager for Yellow Cheese, you will take the overall responsibility for your brand and category where you will analyze, initiate, drive and implement the plans contributing to building growth for your brand and category in Sweden. You are responsible for everything from strategic aspects of developing and establishing your brand in line with your category strategy to the operational implementation of your plans.

Your primary responsibilities are:

  • Be the category and brand expert in your area by mobilizing market, consumer and customer insights to fuel your brand and category growth strategy
  • Champion brand equity building through both ATL and BTL communication strategies (brand positioning, advertising, launch campaign, PR, shopper marketing and E-com). Manage 'day-to-day' agency relationships with your core agencies
  • Own and drive a short and long-term strategic agenda including: business/brand plans, innovation pipeline, media plan, brand budget, portfolio management, P&L
  • Create and lead local NPDs in your area that will fuel your brand/category strategy and secure successful GTM
  • Be on top of your brand/category performance and provide action based recommendation/analysis across the organization
  • Build strong relationships in conjunction with other functions to ensure effective delivery of projects and strong collaboration

What will make you successful

  • We believe you have a Bachelor or Master degree in for example Business Administration (Marketing/Sales) or equivalent
  • We imagine you have 3-5 years of experience from a similar role combined brand & sales management experience within FMCG
  • You have experience in how to build brands and categories
  • You have a solid marketing background and know what is commercially needed to drive things through on store- and customer level
  • You are analytical and have experience from working with data tools such as Nielsen, GFK etc.
  • You are proficient in Swedish and English

As a person, you have an entrepreneurial mindset and work independently to drive through business agenda. You're also a strong relationship builder across the line and an excellent

communicator.
