About the Role

As a Sales Manager at HARMAN, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our automotive business to achieve customer-specific goals. Your focus will involve early customer engagement to cultivate business opportunities and drive them to successful outcomes.

What You Will Do

  • Execute pursuit strategies for new business opportunities aligned with customer account initiatives
  • Identify and initiate new pursuits, fostering early engagements
  • Lead RFI/RFQ responses for new business, including quote management and negotiation processes
  • Develop compelling unique selling propositions and value statements
  • Understand and meet customer expectations in terms of cost, requirements, and timelines
  • Identify key stakeholders, formulate winning strategies, and forge strategic partnerships
  • Drive internal initiatives in collaboration with various teams to showcase Proof-of-Concepts

What You Need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Engineering
  • Solid sales experience and acumen
  • Proficiency in P&L statements, business cases, and contract negotiations
  • Excellent negotiation skills and strategic execution abilities
  • Deep understanding of Automotive OEM organizations and processes
  • Experience with relevant customers and stakeholder management
  • Ability to engage effectively across different customer hierarchy levels
  • Skilled in presenting ideas and opportunities to diverse audiences

What is Nice to Have

  • Technical understanding of Automotive HW and SW systems
  • Experience working with notable customers such as VCC, Polestar, Volvo AB, etc.
