Reporting Specialist to Santander Consumer Bank

About the position
This is a full-time, fixed-term position starting as soon as possible and lasting until the end of the year. The recruitment process is handled by Bravura Executive, and you will be employed directly by Santander Consumer Bank.
The role
We are seeking an ambitious individual to join Santander banks Financial Reporting team within the Financial Control function. This team ensures accurate and high-quality financial reports across four units in the Nordic region, focusing on both Management and Statutory reporting. This role is specifically focused on the Management Reporting area, with responsibilities related to our Auto Captive partner agreements. Your main task will be to deliver precise and timely reports to both internal and external stakeholders, adhering to the requirements set by the Management Control team at HQ. This role demands a keen eye for detail and a commitment to continuous process improvement and automation to enhance reporting efficiency.
As a Reporting Specialist, you will be responsible for Management reports related to Actuals, Budget, and Forecast, covering Captive reporting by country, brand, and product. This role involves close collaboration with the Nordic Management Control team and the Commercial team to proactively implement and comply with changes in reporting and data requirements, ensuring high-quality reporting. To succeed in this role, you should have experience with database management and be proficient in SQL or similar tools.
Main responsibilities and tasks
- Monthly reporting in the Management Information System (MIS).
- Responsibility for the Captive reporting process, including the preparation and submission of monthly Profit and Loss and KPI reports to internal and external stakeholders, including HQ.
- Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of Captive reporting for the Nordics.
- Drive consistency, simplification, and digitalization/automation of reporting processes.
- Participate in Management Reporting related projects and adhere to reporting requirement implementation.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely collection of data for reporting purposes

Relevant background
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- A couple years of relevant work experience in Finance
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Strong Data Analyst skills with experience in SQL
- Experience with Agresso and PowerBI
- Fluent in written and oral English
