Job Description

In this position, you will strengthen the organization by focusing on areas such as labor relations, labor law, work environment and human rights, due diligence, compliance, and follow-up. Initially, you will concentrate on setting strategy, building teams, and collaborating with a diverse HR community and business leaders. This role is crucial in guaranteeing that our business continues to deliver results and remains effective for both the present and the future.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a core team in the People Relations Area, collaborating with leaders and experts across various functions.
  • Ensure that H&M Group possesses the necessary capabilities and work methods to meet business needs related to labor relations, labor law, risk management, steering, policy, and people governance.
  • Develop and implement the People Relations strategy, ensuring it aligns with H&M's overarching objectives and values.
  • Create and revise social policies to ensure compliance and adherence within the organization.
  • Maintain a comprehensive view of operations, promoting cross-functional cooperation and driving People Relations initiatives across the company.
  • Stay updated on global HR and labor relations trends, continuously adjusting strategies to meet changing business requirements and labor laws.
Qualifications
  • You are a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in Human Resources, Labor Law, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in Employee Relations, Workplace compliance, ensuring compliance with company policies, and meeting legal requirements for a global company.
  • Skilled in managing teams in complex, international business environments, with a proven ability to oversee diverse teams on-site and remotely.
  • A strategic thinker who can translate insights into practical, efficient workflows.
  • An innovative leader who challenges traditional approaches to introduce new solutions.
  • Fluent in English, with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
