About the role

This role is for a Privacy Office within the Group Data Privacy Office (GDPO) for SEB. Our responsibility is to provide the group wide privacy program to ensure ongoing compliance with GDPR.The role include:


• Support SEB units in their ongoing efforts to comply with relevant instructions, policies and processes related to privacy.


• Administer the processes for receiving, documenting, and investigating SEB Units handling of personal data in line with requirements.


• Monitor and respond to internal requests for advice from internal clients in SEB Units and offices related to privacy.


• Deliver privacy related training and drive awareness across the SEB employees.


• Draft and update existing operational guidance, processes, and procedures for privacy compliance within SEB Group.


• Assist SEB Units in their work to carry out required documentation, such as records of processing activities, impact assessments, handling of data subject requests in line with requirements.


• Prepare and report on key operational and substantive privacy compliance metrics across SEB.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have


• A BSc or MSc in law, finance economics and/or other relevant fields.


• Knowledge of the financial market and privacy and regulatory requirements intersection.


• Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset.


• Excellent communication, collaboration, influencing skills, along with fluency in English.


• A good understanding of SEBs operating model and governance structure.


• High personal integrity and ethical compass.


• Curious, open to change, humble and "prestigeless".


• A proactive and agile mindset


• Experience in using M365 applications.
