The Opportunity

We are searching for an experienced Compliance Officer with a background in the payment industry.

Joining the Nordic Compliance team, your base will be in Stockholm, collaborating with the Nordic Worldline entities. As part of the Worldline Group, you will also play a role in European- and Global-level initiatives across the business area and the group.

This position offers you the chance to engage in compliance within an international setting, while working closely with various teams within the organization.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Offer advice and support on compliance matters
  • Conduct compliance monitoring activities
  • Monitor and advise on changes in regulatory requirements
  • Continuously improve the compliance program and methodology
  • Contribute to reports for senior management and the Board of Directors
  • Participate in local, business area, and group-wide Compliance projects
  • Promote a robust compliance culture within the company and contribute to developing/maintaining the Compliance training and awareness program.

Who Are We Looking For

As the ideal candidate, you possess extensive knowledge and practical experience with the Swedish Payment Services Act, PSD2, and related regulatory frameworks. Experience with Nordic payment regulations, upcoming payment regulations, data privacy, DORA, AML/CFT, and financial sanctions is advantageous. You execute your compliance duties with integrity, immerse yourself in the organization and its operations, keeping abreast of developments without compromising the necessary independence of an internal control function. You are proactive and independent, willing to seek input from colleagues, raise concerns, or request assistance.

  • A master's degree in law, finance, business administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in compliance roles
  • Experience in a compliance role at a payment service provider
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and intercultural skills
  • Proficient in both oral and written English and Swedish at a professional level
