As Application Engineer at dSPACE Nordic, you are the trusted partner and solution-finder for our customers. You will work hands-on with the dSPACE tools in the complex and versatile environment of our customers development at different stages.

Your Tasks
  • Creation, adaption, and presentation of demos to customers
  • Working on customer projects, applying and supporting the dSPACE toolchain
  • Participation in internal trainings and staying up to date with our tools
  • Consult the customer about the best technical solution in sales presentations and processes
  • Collect feedback on our tools and insight in customer processes
What we look for

You are a good fit for this role if you...

  • Have a master's degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, technical physics or similar
  • Are about to graduate or have a few years of experience already
  • Are willing to travel to customers and colleagues occasionally
  • Are fluent in Swedish and English in both written and spoken
  • Understand yourself as problem solver and technical consultant
  • Are creative in solving technical problems and like to learn and expand your knowledge regularly
  • Look for a permanent and reliable employer and want to work closely with the local and international team of engineers and experts

It is of advantage if you bring experience and/or strong interest in these areas:

  • Hardware in the loop (HIL), software in the loop (SIL), embedded programming, model development, mechatronics, real-time systems, bus networks, I/O and model ports
  • General understanding of vehicle systems and ECUs

It won't get boring, and you will keep learning. We are working with customers from all kinds of industries like automotive, commercial vehicles, aerospace, research, and more. They usually have customer specific applications and use a combination of products of our extensive end-to-end solution portfolio. This gives you the chance to continuously expand your knowledge in this exciting environment and get a deep understanding about customer products of the future.

We are enablers, our tools are crucial for our customers to develop their features. You will help our customers to use our tools in their customer specific environment in an effective and efficient way. We want to be the technical consultants that makes our customers achieve their goals.

You will work with our local team to do trainings, exchange ideas, and build experience. You will work in customer projects, demos, and support. You will work with the international team of experts and colleagues to improve the product and give feedback as the voice of the customer.
