We are currently seeking a Application Design Engineer to join our Digital and Integrated Systems Division in Stockholm.

Your future role:

We are looking for a passionate, organized, and driven Application Design Engineer with a technical background and a collaborative mindset. Your main goal will be to deliver outstanding results to stakeholders in a reliable and controlled manner, all while enjoying the journey. You will be part of a skilled team with diverse backgrounds eager to welcome your contribution.

Our Digital and Integrated Systems Division is a global leader in developing and implementing rail control and signaling safety solutions for rail networks and trains.

As an Application Design Engineer, your primary focus will be application design, testing, and delivering site data for the Traffic Management System. You will also be responsible for monitoring and controlling Signal, Switch, Track circuit, and Train Movement using Traffic operations view. Working within a team environment will provide you with opportunities for growth, knowledge sharing, and skill development.

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Ensure configuration management for project data.
  • Provide feedback to inputs producers.
  • Contribute input to offers.
  • Participate in customer meetings.
  • Attend commissioning events, including occasional travel (~3 times a year).
  • Offer training to site technicians and operators.

  • Must be fluent in English

Due to the security classification of this position, a security assessment will be conducted in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act before finalizing employment decisions.

As this role falls under a security classification, Swedish or EU citizenship is a mandatory requirement.
