We are now looking for a Sales Director Containerboard, Business Area Paperboard.


Are you an engaging leader with a commercial mindset and a desire to drive new business? In that case, we have an exciting and challenging position for you.

As our new Sales Director Containerboard, you and your team will be responsible for maximizing revenue and optimizing margins for Business Segment Containerboard. You will develop, implement and follow-up the sales process within the Containerboard business, supporting, where appropriate, the alignment and harmonization with other Billerud Business Areas to achieve “One way of selling in Billerud”.

Your main tasks will be:

Maximize revenue and margin by translating the business offer into sales. Lead and shape the Sales Containerboard team. Set individual targets, follow up, and making sure that everyone has the prerequisites to succeed. Initiate, maintain and develop sales through existing and new customer relations in line with the Containerboard growth plan. Sales budgeting, forecasting and allocation management. Follow market developments and accumulate market intelligence to support development of the business offer. Be part of the Business Area Paperboard leadership team, and taking joint responsibility for our strategy, targets and execution

You will be part of a large international business team and report to Vice President Business Area Paperboard. Frequent travelling is expected, domestic and international.

Preferred location is Solna or Gruvön, Sweden.

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, we believe you have:

University degree in engineering, business or equivalent. Several years of professional experience in international B2B sales, including leadership positions. Experience from the Paper- & packaging industry including deep knowledge of competitor products and services is a merit. Strong negotiation skills, proven in high level commercial discussions. Proven capabilities to develop long term relationships with customers and partners. Solid leadership skills. A strategic mindset and business acumen. Fluency in English.

For us, personality is important. To be a good fit to the role, you need to be a team player with a commercial mindset and a deep-seated sense of sales and business partnering. You also need to have strong communicative skills and good structure in your way of working. Finally, you are an excellent collaborator with a “team before self” approach, you are down-to-earth and you have a non-prestigious attitude.
