Business Controller Portfolio

Job Description
The Expansion function is here to grow and transform our physical store portfolio by building exceptional store experiences. We are responsible, in partnership with our brands, for all aspects of creating and maintaining our real estate portfolio: we lease, design, draw, buy, build and maintain each store and constantly follow up on the existing portfolio to ensure high profitability. We add new stores and optimize the current portfolio through rebuilds, extensions, renegotiations, relocations and consolidations.
As a Business Controller Portfolio, you are the financial and analytical business partner for the Leasing and Legal teams in sales markets in your region, working with controlling of the expansion strategy and portfolio management. You collaborate closely with the regional Expansion controlling team and sales market Leasing and C&F functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure accuracy in budgeting, P&L methodology and sales and profit forecasting. Build and support strategic plans to contribute to the strategy for growth, consolidations, negotiations and portfolio management in your region. Set routines for sales and cost forecasting for the preparation of business cases, and create, utilize and continuously update benchmark data for budgeting and forecasting purposes. Support sales market teams in their needs for tools or analyses, raise the need for relevant tools with global Controlling and co-create tools for global use. Analyse trends and deviations versus budget/targets and draw conclusions on how to improve results. Analyse the portfolio to identify key success factors, targets and areas of opportunity. Set and implement controlling routines and analysis methods for Lease Managers and sales market Controllers.

You have strong analytical skills and the ability to structure and visualize data. You are good in communicating and presenting information, to transfer knowledge and insights to the team. You enjoy teamwork and effectively collaborate with a group of diverse people to achieve set goals and targets.
What you need to succeed:
At least 3 years of relevant working experience, for example working in controlling or another analytical role. Experience from working in H&M Sales Market is meriting. Advanced level in Power BI and Excel. VBA or similar competence beneficial. Experience from preparing and presenting financial reporting to senior management and other stakeholders. Good knowledge about common accounting principles. Strong strategic leadership and excellent communication skills with the ability to get your message across the organization in a clear and inclusive way. Advanced English level.
