We are looking for an experienced leader who wants to drive the safety & security agenda of the Kållered store as our new Business Risk & Compliance Manager.
To succeed in this position, we believe that you enjoy and are good at working in a structured way and you communicate in a straight and clear manner. You would take pride in working in this supportive position and would enjoy coaching and training fellow employees regarding safety regulations. You are a collaborator and have the skills to build and maintain strong relationships with your colleagues which allows you to further expand the issue of security throughout the store. You are a good listener, a dedicated and present person that has the ability to plan, follow-up and evaluate. You have the ability to make well balanced decisions taking different business, people and ethical perspectives into consideration.

It is a requirement with university degree and/or proven knowledge in the field of international Safety & Security and accident prevention. We recruit primarily based on values, and then based on competence and experience.

Your responsibilities
Your main responsibility as Business Risk & Compliance Manager at IKEA is to ensure a safe and secure environment for our employees and customers. We protect our assets and the IKEA brand. Your work is to proactively identify existing and future business risks as well as minimizing the effects that these might create to our operations and brand.
Your duties include:
To ensure that we have a safe and secure environment for employees and customers through trainings, audits, inspections and follow-ups.
To make sure that all safety and security systems work optimally and that they are up with both with IKEA and national requirements.
To ensure that rules and guidelines at IKEA as well as national requirements are complied with.
Through systematic security work, contribute to us achieving positive results throughout the store during security checks and insurance inspections.
You will be part of the store's Business Navigation & Operations Team. The store administrator will report to you, and you will also work in close collaboration with our Business Risk and Compliance specialist. You will report to Erik, the Business Navigation & Operations Manager.
Our team is great at putting our insights together to detect potential risks early on. Were a diverse group of people who work together to protect and strengthen the IKEA brand through our focus on risk management, data protection, compliance, business operations, health and safety. You coach and educate your colleagues within safety and security and the local management team at the Kållered store. You act as an IKEA ambassador by creating a trustful relationship with your matrix partner at our Service Office and other external actors such as the Police, Rescue Services, Security Companies and Insurance Companies. The assignment requires flexibility and accessibility during sometimes uncomfortable working hours such as evenings and weekends.
You will also be part of the store's crisis group and when needed handle, as well as coordinate, any emergencies according to the crisis plan.

We offer a permanent full-time position. Start date w.32 or according to agreement. This position mainly includes work on weekdays, but also one evening a week, every fourth weekend and public holidays as well as certain on-call in case of an immediate crisis.
In your work as a Business & Compliance Manager, you will take part in sensitive information for our operations, technical systems, staff and customers, which includes a duty of confidentiality. A non-disclosure agreement will be signed. We see that you as a person have a high level of integrity to be able to handle this work.
