Helsingborg, Sweden COWI Full time

Do you want to contribute your expertise in infrastructure to exciting projects? Have you worked with civil engineering, cost estimation, and production planning? Then this could be the next step in your career

Join our infrastructure division, where we work on a variety of urban planning and infrastructure projects. From early planning stages to design and construction support, we handle projects that include roads, railways, bridges, tunnels and marine structures. Our clients range from public agencies like the Swedish Transport Administration and municipalities to a growing number of private contractors and industrial companies.

As a Civil Construction Management Specialist / Cost Engineer, you will be a key player in our team of project management experts. You will work closely with both clients and colleagues, playing an important role in guiding the design process towards practical and cost-effective solutions. Your work will involve everything from feasibility studies to construction and repair documentation. In larger projects, you will help manage design according to cost goals, climate impact, and lifecycle costs (LCC). You will also provide technical and contractual advice to project teams and clients, prepare technical and administrative documents, develop cost estimates, and contribute to production planning. At COWI, we believe in teamwork, open communication, and working together towards creating sustainable cities for the future.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Cost Estimation Production planning Input on buildability of design options Climate impact and LCC

Your skills. Our team. Together we design the future.

The first step to success in this role is that you are eager to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, partners or customers. Developing ties with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. Your expertise is key to our success. Our division includes a wide range of experts such as geotechnical engineers, bridge designers, project managers, landscape architects, and more. We have a friendly and supportive team environment, with people of different ages and levels of experience. This offers you the opportunity to grow your skills, work on exciting projects, and enjoy a varied work environment. Many of our projects are collaborative efforts with other parts of COWI, both within Sweden and internationally.

To succeed in this role, you should have several years of experience in cost estimation and production planning for infrastructure projects.

On top of that, you:

Have previously worked as a site manager, construction manager, or project manager within infrastructure construction. Have experience working with tunnel and/or bridge projects. Hold a degree in civil engineering or have equivalent professional experience. Have experience in construction law (beneficial, but not required). Enjoy having multiple points of contact, both internally and externally, and have an established professional network. Are meticulous in your documentation and fluent in both Swedish and English, in writing and speaking.
