To our Digital Communications Team within Content Factory, we are now looking for a social media content creator. You know which social media platforms and content formats to use to reach different objectives. You are used to producing content yourself and feel comfortable with everything from writing, image editing, video production, and creating simple animations. You work actively with content performance and know how to track and follow up content on all platforms. You recognize yourself in the IKEA values. They are the compass that guides us in everything we do. Our culture is formed when we put these values into action. As a person, we believe you are someone who have:
Proven training in (digital) communications, marketing or equivalent
Proven experience in producing content for social media in a professional context
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in social media platforms and their respective best practices.
Experience with graphic design tools.
Basic video editing and animation skills.
Strong understanding of social media metrics and analytics.
Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative content ideas.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Experience from working in a creative team, producing, publishing, and following up content for social media.
You can understand the complexity of the IKEA business and the role of communication as an integrated part of the business. Additionally, you can communicate complex issues and concepts in a simple, clear, engaging, and inspirational way with an IKEA tone of voice.
A day in your life with us
As a Social Media content creator, you will play a key role in enhancing our brands online presence and engaging our audience across various social media platforms. You will be responsible for creating compelling content that resonates with our target audience, aligns with our brand voice, and drives engagement.
This means that some of your tasks will be:
Develop ideas and create content for social media
Collaborate with our creative studio team to align content with overall brand messaging and campaigns.
Produce, publish, and follow-up content for IKEA spokespersons
Participate in creating social plans for our spokespeople
Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications, and apply knowledge to improve content performance.
Analyze content performance metrics and use insights to refine and improve future content.
Stay updated with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
Coach and support leaders and co-workers how to use social media
This role is a permanent contract and will be located in Malmö, Sweden. You will report to the Digital Communications Manager of Ingka.

About The Content Factory
This role belongs to the Digital Communication Team within Content Factory. The Content Factory is where we will come together across Ingka Group to create low-cost and high-quality content and experiences innovate in ways that benefit more of the many and create engagement with the IKEA brand. The Content Factory focuses on end-to-end content creation and deployment across Ingka, and we aim to make sure we have the best possible setup to deliver value and meet brand and customer new demands in an omnichannel reality.
