About the Risk Control Function Trustly Group AB’s second line of defense consists of the Compliance Function, Risk Function and the CISO. The position is the Chief Risk Officer who is ultimately responsible for the Risk Control Function towards the board of directors and the CEO. The Risk Control Function works closely with the Compliance team through knowledge sharing and cooperation. About the role We are looking for a Chief Risk Officer to join our Risk Control team in Trustly Group AB. As the Chief Risk Officer you will have a functional reporting line to the Board of directors and the CEO. You will report administratively to the Chief Compliance Officer and will be based in the Stockholm office. Your day-to-day work will include normal risk control tasks such as risk assessments, performing controls, hold trainings etc as well as a wide area of other tasks in order to ensure the function is executing the annual plan, addressing ad hoc issues etc in the most efficient manner. You will be part of a team covering Trustly’s Swedish operations. 

What you'll do

Lead the Risk Control Function, plan the work and execute on the tasks Drafting and executing on the annual plan which includes control activities, risk assessment and training Assist in developing and implementing risk management framework including drafting and revising internal governing documents (policies etc)  Advice and support internal stakeholders on risk related matters Drafting and reporting to the board of directors and the CEO

Who you are

Experience in leading a small team of specialists You have an academic degree, preferably in economics, with relevant working experience from a regulatory/supervisory financial environment or from a consultancy firm working with compliance or risk related issues towards the financial industry Experience in risk management  Previous working experience regarding PSD2 or AML/CFT is an advantage Organized and structured  A team player with high communication skills and the ability to deal with diverse teams of both internal and external stakeholders in a proactive manner Can-do attitude and take ownership of given and proactively identified tasks Fluent in English, most communication is in English and Swedish Kindly submit your application and CV in English.Are you someone who voices new ideas and acts on them?
