We're looking for a People & Culture Intern to come strengthen our team and make Bookboost the best workplace in Hospitality Tech. Sounds good so far? 

Let's look at the key activities you would be doing:

People Operations & Administration
  • Support day-to-day People Operations (onboarding, offboarding, documentation, etc.).
  • Help maintain and improve employee records and HR databases.
  • Assist with coordinating employment contracts, policies, and compliance updates.
  • Streamline internal processes, e.g. improving how we track time off, feedback, or performance notes.
Culture & Employee Experience
  • Plan and support internal events (onsites, celebrations, learning sessions, team activities).
  • Gather employee feedback and help turn insights into action (e.g. pulse surveys).
  • Support initiatives that strengthen company culture and belonging.
  • Create content for internal communication, like People updates, newsletters, or guides.
Talent & Growth
  • Help with recruitment coordination, posting roles, screening applications, scheduling interviews.
  • Support in shaping employer branding efforts (social media, website, or career pages).
  • Organize onboarding new team members to ensure a smooth and welcoming start.
  • Contribute to developing learning and development programs.
Projects & Improvements
  • Take ownership of a people-related projects (e.g. improving onboarding flow, updating our handbook, etc.).
  • Analyze HR data (like engagement or recruitment metrics) and make improvements.
  • Research modern People & Culture trends and implement new ideas for the team.

Skills & Competencies
  • Strong communication skills in English (other languages are a bonus).
  • Good organizational and coordination abilities, you can handle several small projects at once.
  • Comfortable with digital tools (HRIS (Personio), Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, etc.).
  • Interest in areas like recruitment, culture, employee engagement, or learning & development.
  • Analytical curiosity, you enjoy drawing insights from feedback or people data.
Background
  • Studying or recently graduated in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business, or a related field.
  • Previous experience (e.g. through student jobs, volunteering, or projects) in team coordination, events, or communication is a plus, but not required.
