Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Music Programmer with deep expertise in instrumental music, particularly within Wellness contexts, to join our team. In this role, you will craft best-in-class playlist listening experiences for a global audience. You will curate, analyze, and evolve instrumental playlists that support a wide range of moods, moments, and activities, ensuring listeners find the right sound for any occasion.

You will combine creative intuition with a passion for data-driven decision making, staying closely aligned with cultural and musical trends while supporting broader editorial strategy.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and validate playlist concepts for specific moods, moments, and activities.

  • Curate and manage a large volume of playlists across multiple instrumental genres, styles, and contexts.

  • Review music catalogs from diverse genres and evaluate tracks for playlisting potential.

  • Monitor cultural and musical trends and translate them into compelling editorial propositions.

  • Use both quantitative and qualitative data to analyze listener behavior, especially in mood- and moment-based listening.

  • Collaborate closely with the Global Editorial Team and various cross-functional partners to advance content objectives.

Qualifications
  • You have 3+ years of experience in music curation, programming, supervision, or compilation—preferably within instrumental or ambient-focused genres.

  • You bring deep knowledge of music composition, instrumentation, and the structures that define instrumental music.

  • You have a strong background or interest in Wellness-related music, such as meditation, focus, calm, and relaxation.

  • You are comfortable using analytics to inform programming decisions and optimize listener experiences.

  • You stay up-to-date with cultural trends, musical developments, and emerging instrumental styles.

  • You excel at working independently while collaborating effectively with diverse internal teams.

Location: Stockholm/ UK

Form of employment: Full-time until further notice, we apply 6 months probationary employment.
