This opportunity is ideal for a talented music composer with a passion for collaborating on personal creative projects. The role involves working closely with a lyricist to bring original song lyrics to life through expert composition. The project is based in Stockholm, Sweden, and requires the selected freelancer to be present on site for the duration of the assignment. The initial engagement is expected to take only a few hours, with the possibility of additional work in the future. This is a unique chance to contribute your musical expertise to a meaningful, personal endeavor.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate directly with the lyricist to develop a compelling musical composition that aligns with the vision and mood of the lyrics
  • Arrange and structure the song, providing creative input on melody, harmony, and rhythm
  • Offer professional guidance on instrumentation and song dynamics
  • Work on site in Stockholm for the full duration of the project
  • Ensure the final composition is ready for potential recording or further production

Skills And Requirements

  • Proven experience in music composition, preferably with a portfolio of completed works
  • Strong understanding of song structure, melody, harmony, and arrangement
  • Proficiency with music notation software and/or digital audio workstations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work efficiently within a limited time frame
  • Must be available to work on site in Stockholm, Sweden
  • Professional, reliable, and able to provide creative solutions
  • Experience with personal or bespoke music projects is a plus
