Red Door Analytics (RDA) is an independent biostatistics consultancy based in Stockholm, Sweden. We combine advanced statistical methods, bespoke software, and specialist training to deliver innovative solutions in clinical trials, real-world evidence, and academic research. Our team is passionate about rigorous science, open collaboration, and developing the next generation of biostatistical methods and tools.

At RDA, our team of experienced biostatisticians works on complex statistical projects in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Our team currently consists of seven PhD trained, research-active biostatisticians, and a wider network of academic partners.

Role and responsibilities

We are now seeking an Associate Director of Applied Biostatistics to lead complex statistical projects, guide client engagements, and mentor our growing team. This is an ideal role for a senior biostatistician who enjoys a blend of technical leadership, hands-on analysis, and mentoring — within a highly collaborative, research-driven environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the design, analysis, and reporting of clinical and observational studies.
  • Oversee statistical quality and ensure methodological rigor across projects.
  • Supervise and mentor biostatisticians and statistical programmers.
  • Collaborate with our methods teams to implement innovative solutions.
  • Contribute to RDA's training programs and educational workshops.
  • Support business development through proposal writing and client consultations.
  • Represent RDA's applied biostatistics expertise in client and scientific discussions.

Role requirements

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, or related field, and at least 8 years working as a Biostatistician (consulting, pharma, academia, CRO). Must have experience in project management and supervising a team. Experience working in advanced survival analysis is beneficial.
