Position Overview
The
Director Corporate Development
plays a critical role in driving Permobil's strategic growth agenda and shaping the company's long-term strategic direction. As part of the Corporate Development Team, you will closely collaborate with senior executives and help develop the overall corporate strategy while leading efforts to identify, evaluate, and execute mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and other high impact strategic opportunities. By assessing market trends, competitors, and potential synergies, you will make sure all initiatives support Permobil's long term goals and create lasting value for the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of corporate development projects, including M&A and strategic partnerships, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy,
• Drive the end-to-end M&A process, including deal sourcing, strategic rationale, value creation, financial modeling, due diligence, and negotiations,
• Manage large cross functional teams across international markets to deliver on project objectives, including internal DD teams, external advisors and other stakeholders,
• Drive the company's corporate strategy, identifying new growth platforms and disruptive opportunities,
• Prepare and deliver strategic recommendations and business cases to senior management, ensuring clear communication and actionable insights,
• Conduct market, industry, and competitive analyses to support strategic decision-making and identify emerging opportunities and risks,
• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as potential partners, acquisition targets, and advisors, to support corporate development activities,
• Coordinate the preparation of Board and executive-level materials, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with strategic objectives.

Qualifications & Skills

• University degree in Business, Finance, and/or Engineering with excellent academic performance,
• Minimum of 6–10 years of relevant experience from Corporate Development, Investment banking/transaction advisory, Private Equity, or Strategy with substantial M&A exposure,
• Experience from leading and executing multiple M&A processes,
• End-to-end M&A process experience, from strategic rationale and value creation to leading and executing the transaction
• Established network of advisor contacts for M&A transactions and due diligence,
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights,
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead and coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously,
• Strong financial modelling skills,
• Ability to collaborate effectively with senior executives and cross-functional teams,
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-making at all levels,
• Experience in the healthcare or medtech industry is meritorious
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
