he role
The Head of Product Design leads Nextory's design team, shaping both our design vision and the way we collaborate. The role blends strategic direction with hands-on creativity to elevate the craft of design across all product areas. By building strong discovery and research practices, and nurturing a collaborative, high-performing design culture, the Head of Product Design enables smarter, more impactful ways of working.

In this role you will:

• Own and evolve the design experience across the web and apps to ensure the delivery of valuable, high-quality, on-brand experiences our users love.
• Continuously improve the design process from discovery to delivery, making it more efficient, consistent, scalable, and outcome-focused.
• Constantly evolve best practices and design standards across the organization, ensuring that Nextory is at the very forefront of modern design thinking
• Lead, coach, and mentor the design team, consisting of product designers and a UX-writer, ensuring their continuous growth and development
• Collaborate with senior leadership across Nextory to align and drive a cohesive brand and design strategy throughout the organization.

The main character we're looking for
We believe you are an experienced, hands-on design leader with a strong track record of delivering valuable user experiences as a designer, and you thrive in dynamic environments with high tempo, bold visions and a strong product identity. You combine strategic clarity with practical execution and have the ability to guide a senior team to its next level. You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English.

Furthermore, we believe you have:

• At least 5 years of experience asa design leader and manager, with proven success leading teams across differentcompanies and contexts.
• Hands-on expertise in Figma andexperience driving the development of design systems.
• A deep competence within moderndiscovery, user research, and cross-functional product collaboration.
• A never ending curiosity for newways of working, including how AI can be leveraged to improve design qualityand efficiency.
• Experience structuring andscaling design in a growing organization – from design processes andcollaboration models to documentation and design ops.

We are based in Stockholm, Sweden, with offices in Paris and Bangalore. Our hybrid work policy includes four days in the office and Wednesdays as a work-from-home day.
