Fullstack Tech Lead to Support Team and Stakeholders

About the role 

We are now seeking a Tech Lead to join our ambitious tech team and help build the next generation of our B2B freight platform. Reporting to our Head of Engineering, you will work closely with product owners, UX designers, and other developers to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions that drive real impact for our customers.

This is a hands-on development role where you'll code daily while also guiding and supporting the team in technical matters. You'll act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and smooth collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop scalable and efficient solutions using TypeScript and
  
• Design and implement REST APIs powering our platform's core features.
• Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into high-quality solutions.
• Provide day-to-day technical guidance, mentorship, and support to fellow developers.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing, code reviews, and best practices within the team.
• Build automated tests to ensure product quality and performance.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve our stack and workflows.

About You

You're an experienced fullstack developer who enjoys combining hands-on coding with team leadership. You have strong collaboration and communication skills, and you're comfortable interacting with stakeholders while helping teammates grow in their craft.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has 7+ years of professional software development experience, including 2+ years in a role providing technical guidance or team mentorship.
• Is highly proficient in TypeScript/JavaScript and &
• Can design and implement REST APIs following best practices.
• Has hands-on experience with at least one modern frontend framework (React, Svelte, Angular, or Vue).
• Brings practical experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
• Communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

High value if you also bring:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker).
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Pulumi, Terraform, etc.).
• A track record of mentoring or coaching developers in a collaborative environment.
