Audio Technology Consultant (Python Verification – Infotainment Systems)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated
Audio Technology Consultant
to join our infotainment engineering team. The team is responsible for developing and integrating advanced
audio systems and frameworks
, covering both software and hardware components such as
amplifiers, speakers, and microphones
.

This short-term assignment focuses on
audio software verification
for next-generation infotainment platforms, where you will play a key role in developing
automated audio test cases in Python
and supporting cross-functional validation of system performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Microphones

  • Collaborate with suppliers on audio and installation requirements to ensure compliance with system specifications.

2. Audio Framework

  • Map signal flow and identify test points for audio systems.
  • Define verification methods and review tool specifications.
  • Work closely with software, hardware, and integration teams to ensure seamless system delivery.

3. Audio Testing & Codecs

  • Develop models for
    electrical and acoustic audio testing
    .
  • Automate test procedures using Python for PC-based signal flow and delay evaluation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of audio validation methods and tools.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience
    writing automated test cases in Python
    .
  • Solid background in
    software testing, verification, or validation
    .
  • Previous experience within the
    automotive or embedded systems
    domain.
  • Understanding of
    audio frameworks, codecs, and signal processing
    is highly desirable.
