As a Business Controller you will manage our company's finances ensuring financial stability and growth. The Business Controller drives financial operations and supports all functions in delivering business targets by providing insights, reporting, and strategic financial planning. Acting as a business partner, the role ensures financial strategy alignment with organizational objectives, delivers accurate and actionable analysis, and safeguards company assets while optimizing financial performance throughout the organization.
Skills and experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Master's degree (e.g., MBA) or equivalent is a plus but not required.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial controlling or similar roles, working closely with business, ideally within industrial or automotive sectors.
Solid experience in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and spending control.
Thorough knowledge of financial statements and the ability to assess cause-and-effect relationships in business performance.
Financial Acumen: In-depth ability to analyze and connect financial data to business outcomes, driving strategic insights.
Business Partnering: Strong customer focus and collaborative mindset to influence and support stakeholders.
Your role
As a Business Controller you will:
Drive and support financial steering by providing insightful analysis, reporting, and financial planning across departments.
Perform detailed cost, profitability, and variance analyses to support data-driven decisions across all functions.
Collaborate with relevant teams to develop financial forecasts, budgets, and performance tracking mechanisms.
Ensure accurate financial reporting by working closely with cross-functional teams and driving compliance with company financial deadlines and procedures.
Support the development and implementation of improved financial processes, tools (e.g., SAP, Power BI), and governance protocols that enhance operational efficiency.
