Senior Data Architect – Databricks, Full Time Permanent Role, Sweden (Hybrid).

You must be Sweden based and the client is unable to provide visa sponsorship.

Are you passionate about designing modern, scalable, and secure data platforms?

A key client of ours is recruiting for a Senior Data Architect to lead the evolution of there enterprise data architecture using Databricks and Azure technologies. In this role, you'll drive the design of data lakes, lakehouses, and warehouses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design enterprise-grade data models (3NF, Kimball, Data Vault)
  • Architect scalable data platforms – data lakes, lakehouses, and warehouses
  • Lead metadata-driven ingestion and transformation pipelines
  • Ensure GDPR compliance and strong data governance practices
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and delivery teams
  • Manage full data lifecycle: from strategy to deployment
  • Champion best practices in data lineage, MDM, and cataloguing
  • Influence architectural direction across teams and stakeholders

Key Skills / Experience:

  • Proven experience in data architecture and modelling.
  • Deep expertise with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and SQL Server.
  • Strong understanding of both structured and unstructured data.
  • Experience designing secure, high-performance data solutions.
  • Agile (SCRUM, PRINCE2, Lean).
  • Excellent communication skills / improvement-driven approach.

Sweden based, hybrid working - negotiable salary based on the level of experience.
