We are seeking an experienced
Senior Data Engineer
to design, build, and maintain robust data platforms that support large-scale data collection, storage, and processing. You will play a key role in transforming raw data into trusted, high-quality data assets that enable analytics, reporting, and strategic decision-making across the organization.

This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, development teams, source-system owners, and data/information architects. You will also drive best practices in data modeling, pipeline development, documentation, and code structure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and optimize
    ETL/ELT pipelines
    for efficient data ingestion and transformation
  • Develop and maintain scalable
    data models
    (DataVault & dimensional modeling)
  • Ensure
    data quality, reliability, and security
    across the platform
  • Work with cloud-based data infrastructure (preferably
    GCP / BigQuery
    )
  • Enable analysts and decision-makers by delivering well-structured, accessible data
  • Promote engineering best practices and contribute to documentation standards
  • Support continuous improvements together with cross-functional teams

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong expertise in
    SQL
  • Proven experience with
    Data Vault
    and
    dimensional modeling
  • Hands-on knowledge of
    GCP
    ,
    BigQuery
    , and
    GitHub
    (or similar tools)
  • Solid understanding of data lifecycle, governance, and security

Nice to Have

  • Experience with
    DBT
    for transformation orchestration
  • Knowledge of
    Terraform
    (or similar IaC frameworks)
  • Experience with
    Looker
    or other BI tools
  • Programming skills in
    Python

Languages

  • Fluent
    Swedish
