We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team in Stockholm and help us build the core infrastructure that powers our AI and machine learning initiatives. This is a full-time position where we believe in the value of collaborating in person, so you'll be spending most of your time in the office within a flexible setup.

How You Will Make An Impact

AI and machine learning is a core part of what we're working on, and this means there are a lot of exciting and impactful backend systems to build. You'll be at the heart of it all, building the systems that seamlessly connect our machine learning models to the frontend applications and other software that brings our products to life. Your work will directly enable our teams to build groundbreaking features and revolutionize the way our users create.

You'll get to work on the entire journey, from building new systems from the ground up to maintaining and scaling existing ones. You'll be a key part of our effort to create a foundation that is not just reliable and scalable but also a pleasure to build on.

What You'll Do

  • Build backend systems that are a bridge between our machine learning models and the rest of our software.
  • Design, build, and maintain robust systems from idea to production.
  • Work across teams to navigate and lead technical projects and collaborations.
  • Coach and mentor colleagues, sharing your knowledge and fostering a curious and learning culture.
  • Embrace agile development processes and help us continuously improve the way we work.

What You'll Bring

  • Extensive experience with both Go and Python.
  • Deep knowledge of system design and architecture.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (we use GCP).
  • Experience working with Terraform and a solid understanding of infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker for deploying applications.
  • A humble, collaborative, and friendly approach to communication and tech leadership.

It would also be music to our ears if you have:

  • Experience building backend systems for machine learning applications.
