Senior Data Analyst - Malmö, Sweden - Hybrid

Formulate IT is supporting a well-established organisation in Malmö that is investing further in data-driven decision making. We are now looking for a Senior Data Analyst with strong Power BI expertise to join their growing analytics function. This is a permanent position offering the opportunity to influence tooling, reporting strategy, and how insights are translated into business impact.

The Role

  • You will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and product teams to transform raw data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Lead the design and development of Power BI dashboards, reports and data visualisations
  • Work with the data engineering team to define high-quality data models
  • Partner with business functions to understand challenges and translate them into insights
  • Develop DAX measures, reusable data models, and report templates
  • Build and maintain documentation, best practices and governance for analytics
  • Provide guidance to junior analysts and support stakeholders' data literacy

What we are hoping for

  • Solid experience in Power BI, DAX and data modelling
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to simplify complex data
  • Experience working with SQL (and ideally a cloud data platform such as Azure or AWS)
  • Background in dashboard governance, report optimisation, and usable BI design
  • Comfortable working with stakeholders, gathering requirements, and presenting findings
  • Prior experience in a senior data analyst position
