WHAT YOU'LL DO

Are you a skilled, creative & experienced Women's Shoe Designer? We are looking for a Designer with a strong fashion sensibility & vision and a commercial eye for Womenswear within our footwear assortment

You will be part of a fast-paced environment and work with youthful, elevated fashion products that welcome everyone Our target customers are fashion-aspirer women who aspire to the latest in fashion, from current essentials to fashion must haves. You will be part of a fast moving, dynamic environment and adaptable to change.

As a Shoe Designer, you'll drive and identify key products, translating them into commercial collections. You should have strong design process skills, especially in assortment building, and be able to communicate your vision clearly with a creative, fashion-forward focus. You'll work closely with the season, maintaining strong relationships internally and externally.

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You'll collaborate with a team to provide diverse markets with the best products sold worldwide through H&M's omni channels. Your handwriting will demonstrate a strong fashion trend awareness and genuine passion for shoes Maintaining a high fashion sense for style and trends for the target customer, while being cost-conscious throughout the design process, is essential. The role demands high energy, creativity, and experience in coaching and leading others to commercial success

Qualifications

WHO YOU ARE

• BA/MA or equivalent experience in Fashion Footwear/Product Design
• Minimum of 7 years' work experience as a Footwear Designer with a strength in overall collection building
• High knowledge of materials, technical details, and processes of footwear
• A visionary mindset with true passion for women's fashion, current and future trends
• A strong customer focus and commercial mindset for the H&M customer
• Experience working with suppliers/factories in Asia and Europe
• Skilled in working in Adobe Creative Suite programs
• 3D is meriting
• Demonstrated communication skills and true collaborative team player
• Leadership and coaching mindset
• Independent and proactive approach
• Able to set priorities with an organized & structured approach
• Flexible mindset and adaptable to changes in a fast moving & growing industry
• Fluent in English (Swedish not necessary)

This position is based in Stockholm, to start in the new year. You will report to the department Assortment Designer

If your experience, skills & ambitions are right for this role, please send your CV and relevant portfolio work (pdf max 10mb/uploading) ASAP. Portfolio should include vision/mood boards, full design process and final collections and products from a variety of fashion design projects. All documents should be in English. Please ensure to include some work clearly relatable to the aspirational H&M Women's target customer.
