We are now searching for a driven and ambitious Senior Buyer External Brands to strengthen our H&M HOME team. If you thrive on building strategic partnerships and are motivated to drive growth through external brands, this is the role for you.

Job Description

As Senior Buyer External Brands, you will play a key role in identifying, securing, and managing strategic partnerships with external brands that complement and elevate the H&M HOME assortment. Working in a cross-functional team alongside your Product Manager, Product Designers, and Product Developers, you will be responsible for driving external buying strategies to deliver a compelling customer offer.

You will manage wholesale partnerships where we source ready-made products that add unique value to our range. Additionally, you will develop customized collaborations with partners to create tailored products like furniture that align perfectly with our assortment strategy and customer needs.

Your role centers on building strong, long-term relationships with partners, negotiating favorable commercial agreements, and ensuring that all external products meet our standards for price, quality, timing, sustainability, and compliance. You will continuously monitor partner performance, manage order placement, and optimize planning to drive profitable growth across regions and channels.

You will take ownership of the external brands portfolio from partner identification to delivery, continuously seeking new business opportunities that strengthen the customer offer. It's essential to ensure that the external brand partnerships we develop are strategically aligned, commercially strong, and add clear value to our customers.

Qualifications

You have proven experience in buying, sourcing, or partner management within the interior retail and/or design industry

As a successful Senior Buyer External Brands, you are self-driven and commercially minded, with a customer-centric approach. You bring energy, initiative, and authenticity to building relationships and strong collaborations. We believe the ideal candidate has:

• In-depth knowledge of the interior retail & design industry and a keen sense of style and trends relevant to our customers
• Proven experience in buying, sourcing, or partner management, preferably within interior
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to drive favorable commercial agreements and contracts
• Demonstrated expertise in building and managing strategic partnerships with external brands
• Strong business acumen and ownership for category performance and profitability
• Ability to plan, structure as well as start- and drive initiatives from idea to execution
• Skilled in building and managing collaborative relationships across diverse departments and cross functions
• English fluency (Swedish is not necessary)

This is a 12-month temporary position based in Stockholm, starting in the new year. You will report to the Assortment Manager.
