How You Will Make An Impact
In this role, you will elevate Arla Sweden's commercial sustainability agenda to a strategic level by commercialising opportunities with customers and key stakeholders. Reporting to the Managing Director of Arla Sweden, you will act as a sustainability business partner—bridging global ambitions with local plans, shaping our internal and external sustainability voice, developing scalable commercial concepts, and securing stakeholder commitment and deployment.

• Develop and drive Arla Sweden's Sustainability Plan and Roadmap, ensuring activities are aligned with targets across farm, transports, operations, and packaging.
• Create strategic partnerships on sustainability with our customers, identifying and leveraging best practices in commercialising sustainability.
• Create strategic direction for the FarmAhead customer sustainability program and secure buy-in and close collaboration with Retail and Foodservice customers together with the Customer Sustainability Manager.
• Act as an active spokesperson for Arla in diverse external and internal forums—represent Arla Sweden in industry platforms such as DLF, Livsmedelsföretagen, and Hållbar livsmedelskedja—share best practice, influence direction setting, and act as a catalyst for industry change.
• Support the creation of a strong sustainability agenda in Sweden to drive true leadership and industry inspiration.
• Support marketing and communication with robust sustainability facts and claims.
• Drive sustainability initiatives cross-functionally within the Swedish organization and act as a key link to the global sustainability team.

The role sits within Arla Sweden and collaborates closely with the global sustainability team. You will support internal stakeholders with initiatives, drive sustainability training and engagement across the organization, promote Arla's reputation for sustainability externally, and represent Arla in relevant external forums.

What Will Make You Successful
You are passionate about commercializing sustainability and driven by results and ambition. With a strategic mindset, you demonstrate leadership and engage stakeholders at all levels to bring the right players on board. You excel as a project manager and change agent, creating commitment and followership across teams, stakeholders, and senior leaders. You have several years' experience in FMCG sustainability paired with solid commercial acumen. You bring expert-level competence in climate and carbon calculations, energy efficiency, packaging, environmental legislation, and management systems. Fluency in Swedish and English, written and verbal, is mandatory.

Thriving in a matrix across markets, you know how to get the best out of it. You are skilled in stakeholder management and comfortable with senior leaders, navigating complexity and aligning diverse interests. You may or may not have prior people leadership; if not, you are ready to grow into it. You communicate clearly, build trust quickly, and translate global ambitions into concrete local plans that deliver measurable impact.
