Today, we employ 1,000+ people and operate 120+ tire shops, five retreading sites, and 39 partner shops across Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Poland. The group has scaled from EUR 100 million in revenue at the beginning of 2023 to EUR 310 million by 2025, with a clear path to continue growing rapidly over the next years.

At Citira, circularity is a core business strategy, not an add-on. Our ambition is to fundamentally reshape tire management to deliver both commercial and environmental impact.

As a market leader in retreaded tires, we turn fewer resources into more kilometers — achieving a 59% lower carbon footprint and saving 128 kg of raw materials per tire life cycle. Over the past 12 months alone, our retreaded tires helped customers avoid 54k tons CO₂ and 6k tons of raw materials, according to Citira's independent life-cycle assessment.

To accelerate our journey, Citira is now looking for a Sustainability Business Developer to join the team..

About the role

In this role, you will help build and scale Citira's circular business strategy to deliver real, measurable impact across the group.

You will work at the intersection of business development, sustainability, and analytics in a fast-growing, buy-and-build environment. Your focus will be on high-impact initiatives that strengthen the commercial case for circular tire services, enable data-driven decision-making, and build the measurement and reporting capabilities needed to scale across the group.

You will collaborate closely with teams across the organization — from commercial and operations to finance, procurement, HR, and IT — translating strategy into execution.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the execution of Citira's circular business strategy, including initiatives to increase adoption of retreaded tires and extend tire life across the value chain
• Develop data-driven value cases, including LCA-based customer propositions, sustainability KPIs, and analytics that support commercial decision-making
• Support development of go-to-market and sales enablement tools for circular offerings (e.g. playbooks, trainings, and customer cases)
• Help build and scale group-level ESG measurement and reporting, including CSRD, EcoVadis, KPI frameworks, and dashboards
• Contribute to regulatory readiness across key frameworks, including EU Taxonomy, CBAM, and EUDR
• Support decarbonization and climate strategy execution, including calculations, roadmaps, and reduction initiatives
• Work cross-functionally with commercial, operations, procurement, finance, HR, and IT teams to gather data, support projects, and translate requirements into execution

What we are looking for

Education and background

• Relevant MSc/Bachelor's degree in sustainability, engineering, environmental science, business, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in analytical, execution-focused roles working with sustainability data, reporting, and/or strategy in consulting (e.g. strategy or management consulting, incl. Big 4 advisory), a high-growth company, or a comparable fast-moving environment

Skills we believe are important

• Ability to support project execution — helping structure work, coordinate stakeholders, and follow through on sustainability initiatives
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort working with sustainability data, KPIs, and data analysis tools to support decision-making
• Excellent communication and presentation skills — able to explain sustainability data and concepts to diverse audiences, both internal and external
• Proactive and action-oriented, with the willingness to work both strategically and hands-on in a fast-moving environment
• Fluent in English and Swedish, written and spoken
