As Head of Marketing Strategy, you will work closely within our Marketing and Commercial Excellence team, supporting Containerboard product lines and sales to develop and implement marketing strategies that align with our business objectives. Your insights and strategic thinking will help identify growth opportunities, define target groups, and create value propositions that resonate in the market. You will work in close collaboration with Marketing Engagement team and sales to ensure seamless implementation of go-to-market plans.
Your responsibilities:
- Align marketing strategies with our business in the Containerboard Business Area
- Monitor market trends and provide updates on end-use applications
- Identify and research new market opportunities
- Own product naming and product brand portfolios
- Define target groups and product positioning
- Develop value propositions and go-to-market strategies
- Prepare business cases for new strategies and budget requests
- Collaborate and coordinate marketing efforts
- Design target-driven marketing strategies
- Share insights clearly with internal stakeholders
- Analyze key performance indicators for marketing and sales
- Track marketing outcomes (activities, leads, retention, ROI) with the team
What you bring
You are a strategic and customer-focused thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You turn insights into actionable plans and develop strategies and materials that drive business impact. Structured and creative, you manage multiple priorities with ease.
In addition, you bring:
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a marketing strategist, marketing manager/director, or similar role in product marketing (in manufacturing industry)
- Master's degree in Marketing or relevant field
- Demonstrable experience with market analysis and strategic goal setting
- Proven track record of project management and strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills
- Creative thinker with data-driven analytical approach
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), English fluency
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Preferably experience in Packaging industry and board products
