Your role

At Product Unit (PU) Fighter EW (Electronic Warfare) we are responsible for a number of products within the fighter domain, throughout their life cycle. We have the wide responsibility to define the product offerings, develop sales, executing on won contracts ranging from product definition/development of new products all the way to supporting our customers in their operations.

We are now looking for a committed and driven manager to take overall responsibility for our agile development programs. You will play a key role in driving our agile transformation and leading successful programs that make a real difference.

As manager for our agile programs department, you will have overall responsibility for ensuring that the programs deliver according to goals and strategy. You will have line management responsibility for the leading roles within the programs, such as Release Train Engineers (RTEs) and Chief Product Owners (CPOs), and you will support them in creating value and driving development forward.

In addition, you will be part of the Product Unit management team, where you contribute to the overall strategy, direction, and development of the unit.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Responsibility for the delivery from our functions programs
• Full budget and cost responsibility for the programs
• Line management responsibility for leading roles within the programs (RTE, CPO, etc.)
• Ensuring that plans, guiding documents, and processes are in place and followed up
• Driving continuous improvements and developing ways of working within the programs
• Supporting program leadership in building a culture based on transparency, engagement, and continuous learning
• Actively contributing to the leadership of the Product Unit as part of its management team

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a technical background who thrives in a complex environment where you combine strategic thinking with hands-on leadership. You bring energy, a positive mindset, and the ability to see opportunities where others see obstacles.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Experience leading within agile organizations, preferably at scale (e.g., SAFe or similar frameworks)
• Leadership experience, including personnel and budget responsibility
• Solid understanding of technology and product development
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders
• Fluent in Swedish and English

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
