At Oplane, we're on a mission to make secure by design the new normal. Our AI-powered platform is transforming how fast-moving software teams scale security knowledge—without slowing down innovation. As we expand our core team, we're looking for an AI Agent Developer who's passionate about building smart solutions that help developers and programming agents to design, analyze, and secure software.

What you'll do:

  • Design, prototype, and productize agent workflows that:

Understand complex software systems and their components from source code.

Analyze and interpret design changes, including security implications.

Facilitate automated threat modeling and security analysis.

  • Write and optimize LLM prompts to improve the performance and reliability of our AI agents.
  • Rapidly prototype new ideas and turn successful prototypes into robust product features.
  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and security experts to shape our roadmap.
  • Help set the standard for how AI augments secure software development.

What we're looking for:

  • Production-level Python skills and experience with modern AI/ML tooling.
  • Hands-on experience with AI agent frameworks such as Langchain, Langgraph, or PydanticAI.
  • A fast-moving, independent mindset—you thrive in rapid prototyping and love solving open-ended problems.
  • Curiosity about programming language architectures (e.g., endpoints, call-graphs) and how software is built.
  • Experience designing, testing, and evaluating AI agents in real-world scenarios.

Nice to haves:

  • Deeper expertise in software architecture analysis or threat modeling.
  • Experience in structured testing and evaluation of AI agents.
  • Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol), or advanced prompt engineering.
  • Proficiency in common programming languages beyond Python, such as C#, Java, C++, or others.
  • Previous work with security tools, developer tools, or SaaS products.
