Tasks And Responsibilities
As a Backend Engineer, you'll be part of the Global Platform Team at Ramudden, building the cloud-based platform that powers their digital devices. You will be working with making sure that the platform connects different types of devices, manages their state changes, and integrates seamlessly with third-party services.

In this role, you'll be working in a cross-functional, agile setup together with colleagues specialized in both hardware and software. Your focus will be on designing and building scalable, reliable backend systems that sit at the core of the digital infrastructure. You will also get to take features from idea to production and be involved in both discovery and delivery through Dual Track Agile.

You will be collaborating closely with other Software Engineers, Product Managers, designers, and Hardware Engineers to create innovative solutions, while also contributing to the standardization of Ramuddens design system and the technical best practices.

• Backend: .NET 9.0, C#
• Databases: PostgreSQL with PostGIS
• Data & Analytics: Stitch, DBT, Snowflake, PowerBI
• Cloud: Azure (Service Bus, Container Apps)
• Architectural Patterns: Clean Architecture, CQRS, Domain-Driven Design, Repository Pattern, Event Driven Architecture (EDA)
• DevOps: Docker, GitHub Actions, Infrastructure as Code (Bicep)

Education, Experience And Personal Characteristics

• 3+ years of experience in backend development using object-oriented languages such as C#, Java or Kotlin
• Experience in automated testing, including unit, integration and API tests
• Proficient in working with relational databases and SQL, experience with PostgreSQL is preferred
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken

It´s a plus if you have

• Experience with .NET framework
• Experience working with IoT platforms or device management systems
• Familiarity with PostGIS or other geospatial database extensions
