About the Role

We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our Payments team, focusing on building and maintaining the systems that power payments within the 360Player platform.

In this role, you will work on integrations with payment providers, building payment flows, and developing reporting tools that support the diverse payment needs of sports clubs worldwide. You will collaborate closely with frontend engineers and other backend team members to ensure secure, reliable, and seamless payment experiences for our users.

This role will allow you to work on meaningful projects that have a direct impact on how clubs handle payments globally, supporting their operations with stable, user-friendly solutions.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain backend features for the payments domain within the 360Player platform.
• Build and maintain integrations with payment providers, ensuring reliability and security.
• Develop and improve checkout flows to support a wide variety of club needs.
• Build reporting tools to provide clear payment insights to clubs and internal teams.
• Work closely with frontend engineers to ensure seamless user experiences.
• Contribute to maintaining and improving backend systems to ensure stability and performance.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate on improving backend practices.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in backend development.
• Proficiency in Go (Golang) or strong experience in another language with a willingness to learn Go.
• Experience working with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience working with or integrating payment providers such as Adyen, Stripe, or similar is a plus.
• Understanding of API design, clean code practices, and building scalable backend systems.
• Comfortable working collaboratively with frontend engineers and stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, especially related to payment flows and data handling.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
