About the position

We are looking for a Technical Information Specialist to strengthen our client's team. They are a well-known player within the automotive industry. You will be working from the office in Södertälje, and you can work via remote two days per week.

Your daily tasks

The Technical Information Specialist is responsible for developing high-quality diagnostic service information that enables workshops to efficiently troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair vehicles. The role focuses on producing clear, standardized, and user-friendly content that is fully integrated. This includes the creation of fault code texts, step-by-step diagnostic and calibration guides, component information, UI texts, technical illustrations, and function descriptions.

The position involves extensive use of internal tools such as OAS, Catalyst, PT (Production Tool), and GitLab, and also includes contributing to continuous improvements in documentation processes and supporting collaboration across engineering, diagnostics, and service development teams.

Key deliverables include:

• Fault code texts
• Diagnostic and calibration guides
• Component and function descriptions
• UI texts and technical illustrations

• Relevant education and/or work experience within Technical Communication or Technical Writing and Information Technology or related technical fields
• Technical basic skills are requiredas well as an interest in vehicles.
• Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written English

Meritorious:

• AI knowledge (within technical writing)
• UX/Front-end development skills

Contract type and hours
