Office 365 Specialist to IT

The Office 365 Management Team at Sweco IT is seeking a passionate Office 365 Specialist with a strong interest in Identity and Access Management solutions. This role offers a dynamic work environment where you will contribute to innovative projects, implement new solutions, and provide expert advice in strategic planning.

You will belong to the Infrastructure & Cloud unit at Sweco IT and report to the Team Manager for Office 365 Management. Our team consists of specialists in Identity, Collaboration, and Email/Messaging, spread across five European countries. With the rapid adoption of O365 at Sweco, there are abundant opportunities to drive change and pioneer new technologies.

Role Responsibilities:
In the role of Office 365 Specialist you will work in our Office 365 Management team based in our Stockholm Office. In your daily work you will research and implement new solutions, be involved with ongoing projects, handle requests for new services, and be an advisor in strategic planning whilst working closely with the wider Sweco business.

You will work proactively with developing and improving processes, solving problems, and developing documentation. You will be a 'go to' person for technical advice and information both within Sweco IT and in the business.

Key Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience and solid understanding of technical concepts.
• Solid technical background with strong knowledge of Office 365 services and technologies, including Entra ID.
• Experience in O365 migration work in a large organization is advantageous but not essential.
• Proactive in developing and improving processes, solving problems, and creating documentation.
• Excellent communication skills in English, for providing technical advice and information within Sweco IT and the wider business.

Technical Skills and Experience:

Entra / Azure / O365:

• User and group management.
• Application and permission management, Role-Based Access Control.
• SSO configurations, SAML, and oAuth authentication.
• Conditional Access and MFA configuration.
• Working knowledge of GraphAPI (using Entra and permission management).
• Knowledge of Active Directory and Entra ID Connect.
• Experience in Powershell scripting and SQL (desirable).
• Subscription and resource management in Azure (desirable).

Microsoft 365:

• Understand the Microsoft 365 Roadmap and proactively identify, research, and implement beneficial features.
• Troubleshoot, configure, and maintain O365 core services.
• Collaborate with Sweco Enterprise Architects on large organizational projects.
• Advise on applications and services within Office 365, demonstrating and documenting opportunities and limitations.
• Handle incidents and work with external suppliers and stakeholders.
