We are growing fast and showing up more in the data community through conferences, meetups, and executive gatherings. Now we are looking for an
Event Manager
who wants to shape that presence, build community, and drive real business impact through events.

*The Role*
You'll be responsible for planning and executing events that expand Steep's presence in the data community, strengthen customer relationships, and support the sales pipeline. You will also help build a strong community around Steep's brand. Your work will directly support demand generation, accelerate deals, and deepen relationships with customers and partners. If you like full ownership, fast decision-making, and seeing your ideas come to life quickly, this will be a great fit.

*What you'll do*

  • Own the full event lifecycle: Plan and run conferences, dinners, and meetups relevant to the Steep community.
  • Build community: Create experiences that bring people together and strengthen the Steep network.
  • Lead logistics: Manage vendors, venues, catering, travel, and all details that make an event feel smooth.
  • Drive outcomes: Make sure events support pipeline, conversion, and customer retention.
  • Run on site: Lead setup, manage timelines, solve problems, and deliver a great attendee experience.
  • Measure and improve: Track success metrics and use insights to make each event better.

*What we're looking for*

  • 3+ years of experience planning and running events end-to-end
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage several timelines
  • Clear communicator who works well with vendors, partners, and senior leaders
  • Hands-on problem solver who stays calm when things get busy
  • Comfortable working with budgets, timelines, and success metrics
  • Focused on impact, not only execution
  • Willingness to travel and occasionally work evenings or weekends during events
